Employee of the Year
2006: Celine Gaudin – Membership Services Manager
In celebrating its second birthday, The University Club introduced a new award to acknowledge a staff member amongst those named Employee of the Month as the overall Employee of the Year. The inaugural winner was Celine Gaudin, Membership Services Manager for her ongoing hard work and dedication to the membership department.
2007: Adam Buchanan - Assistant Banquets Manager
As a part of The Club’s Third Birthday celebrations, The University Club Employee of the Year has been announced. Assistant Banquets Manager Adam Buchanan is the deserving winner for 2007.
Adam won the award for his quiet achievement and excellence in service in the Banquets Department. Adam joined The Club in early 2007 and has worked tirelessly in The Club’s busiest department. Adam’s award was presented at The Club’s Third Birthday Party held on Friday 7 March, by Gaye McMath, The University of Western Australia’s Executive Director of Finance and Resources.

WA Oceana Fest The WA Ocena Fest is an annual culinary competition which tests the skills of chefs on an individual and team basis. The Club is proud to say that Ben Lilburne 3rd year apprentice competed in a team of three winning the silver medal for the hot food presentation and the bronze medal for the cold food presentation.
