SEPTEMBER - New Latitudes by Mutsuko Bonnardeaux Proudly sponsored by Central Asia Resources Limited
Join Mutsuko as she shares her artwork called Kumi-E. By using hand-made and dyed paper with a Japanese collage-like technique, the artist expresses her images of Western Australia. She captures scenes from the Kimberley rock formations to the wildflowers in a mix of texture and colour. Her artwork can be described as technically brilliant and artistically rich – as Mutsuko says, “Kumi-E is created by the integration of colours, texture and structure – one cannot exist without the other”.
Mutsuko Bonnardeaux won the top prize in the Victoria Park Art Awards. To view the article published in the Southern Gazette click here.
