Club Logo
In designing the logo for The University Club of Western Australia we drew on elements of The University of Western Australia logo to create a fresh new image. The wings of the black swan represent part of the University and also the Swan River, which flows alongside the campus and is an integral and memorable part of the University experience. It also serves as a reminder of where the Club is located.
The way the wings are folded around the name of the Club, signifies the relationship between the University and the Club, representing the nurturing of the Club by its parent the University.
The typeface used for the name of the Club utilises a combination of fonts that use a traditional script combined with a more modern font, symbolising both the past and the present.
